SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4 - Web Intelligence Rich Client: Login Failed error message in Webi Rich Client

Error Encountered During Logging in Web Intelligence Rich Client

Error message "Login Failed"

Scenario:
Able to connect to another server using same Webi Rich Client.
Other BO tools like Universe Designer also work fine.

Result:

  1. Close the Web Intelligence Rich Client Tool
  2. Move the LSI file contained in "My Documents\My Business Objects Documents\LocData" to another folder (for backup).
  3. Start the application and log in.

Error Encountered During Job Execution in Data Services







NAME:
Cannot write onto Disk for the file <C:\ProgramData\SAP BusinessObjects\Data
Services\Log\pCache/172.16.10.89_dw-svr,1433_dsrepo_consultant/329621CacheSplit2_7536_1>. OS Error: <No space left on device>


SOLUTION:
  1. Start Data Services Server Maqnager for the Job Server in question.
  2. In the Runtime resources configured for this computer section, modify the path to point to the desired location.
  3. Restart Job Server.
